About Me

Introduction and Background

Steve Scoresby is the Creator and Editor of Marketing Stampede.com and a Renegade Professional trainer.

Scoresby’s offline occupation is sales and marketing in the insurance industry.  For over 19 years, Scoresby has been in the trenches selling insurance or managing an agency of insurance professionals.

“I enjoy working in the insurance industry.  It is one of the few sales professions where you provide a valuable service for others and get paid a renewal (residual) income month-after-month for sales you may have made years ago.  Dedicated professionals can easily make a six-figure income with the proper training and work ethic.”

Internet Network Marketing

In 2006, Scoresby was introduced to internet network marketing and was attracted to the idea for the same reasons he loved the insurance industry.

“I become involved in a network marketing company and quickly became a member of the NFL (No Friends Left) club.  I did not want to participate in “3-foot rule” prospecting or cold calling leads,  so I turned to the internet to find a system to generate leads for my opportunity.  I soon became lost in the maze of sales letters, “free” information and marketing systems that were being offered and advertised.”

Scoresby took up free offers, trial memberships, bought e-courses and e-books, tried programs and promoted marketing systems hoping to earn the elusive multiple figure monthly internet income promised by these “gurus” .  He got a great education from the School of Hard Knocks, but the income still eluded him.

“I was about ready to give up.  I didn’t really believe it was possible for me to make money on the internet.  I was tired of all the hype. I was sick of promoting everything and getting nothing.  I just needed a break.”

The Day Things Changed

“I was plugged into another online training seminar and pulled out two ideas that changed everything:  1) FOCUS on ONE opportunity (method) at a time, and 2) Sell yourself, not your opportunity.  These two ideas turned my internet marketing world around.  Things have been different ever since.”

Scoresby has become an expert at attraction marketing and now desires to share his knowledge, skills and expertise with others who may be looking for leadership, training, and guidance in the internet network marketing industry.

“I created Marketing Stampede.com to help others avoid the costly lessons and mistakes  I made when I  first got started in internet network marketing.  I also want to help  them connect to the people, training and resources that can bring a stampede of traffic and profits to their website or business opportunity. “

There ain’t no free lunch in internet network marketing, but for those who are willing to invest in themselves, put the time and effort in to learn the skills necessary for success and be willing to apply what they learn on a daily basis, –for these individuals– the rewards will be great.

Living Life With Purpose

Scoresby is happily married and enjoys spending time with his wife and three children.

“For me it is all about my FAMILY and FREEDOM… having the time to spend with my family and the money to do what I want. I enjoy a lifestyle that allows me to spend time with my family while I make a difference in other people’s lives. My PASSION is helping others grow personally and succeed financially.”

If you truly desire to have the time freedom and financial freedom through internet network marketing, it’s time to make your move and take your dreams to the next level. I’d love to help, but you need to take the first step. Get in touch with me for a free consultation. Let’s see if we can do something great together!
